Ideal for those everyday aches and pains, as well as sports injuries and muscle pulls, this ice pack can help treat aches and pains to backs, shoulders, knees and any other large areas needing cold therapy. Use for 30 minutes then refreeze at a temperature above 0 degrees F. The oversize ice pack measures 12.5 inches X 18.5 inches and can be used again and again. Always use a terrycloth between the ice pack and your skin to avoid irritation.

Applications:
For Initial Chilling of the ColPac, remove from all packaging, place flat in Chilling Unit ⁄ Freezer for two hours.
Do not chill below 0 degrees F
To keep moist, place in a plastic bag, seal, and then place in freezer. This will preserve them and prevent them from drying out or getting hard.
Never Let ColPacs Dry After Use — Always Keep Them In Freezer.
Remove ColPac from freezer and place a hand towel between the skin and the ColPac. Apply to area being treated.
Treatment time should not exceed 30 minutes
Precautions:
Do not sit, lie, or sleep on the ColPac
Constantly monitor application to avoid skin irritation.
Do not heat or microwave the ColPac to use as a hot pack. Use only as a cold therapy.
Care:
Wipe all moisture from the ColPac before returning to freezer.
Lay the ColPac flat for storage in the freezer.
ColPacs are most serviceable when kept in a freezer set at 12 degrees F (-11 degrees C)
Store in freezer when not in use.

My husband had rotator cuff surgery. He has been using the oversized ice pack after his therapy and he thinks it has really helped. We could only find small ice packs that wouldn't cover the entire area and they were very hard and not flexible. Thank you for making ths available.

This cold pack has been so helpful. I have had physical therapy for my shoulder and found it so soothing and just the right size. It drapes easily over the arm and soothes and comforts while I can do other things. Sara Reale

I learned about this specific Ice Pack at Physical Therapy. After going thru my exercises for a very arthritic knee (it will most likely have to be replaced within the next year or so) they put an Ice Pack on each knee after each session for approximately 15-minutes. It really helped with the swelling.
Now after exercising at home or just after a normal long day on my feet, I relax on the couch with the ColPaC wrapped around my knee for 15-30 minutes and the pain relief is amazing.
Great company to deal with, very fast delivery, and an excellent, high quality prodouct.

Have a hip injury not isolated to one specific spot. I have been going to physical therapy with directions to ice the area twice a day. It is so cumbersome to craft a homemade ice bag to cover the areas and stay in place. So I started my search to find an ice bag like they use in therapy at a great cost - markups can be high in medical offices. Found this and it has been a fantastic. I know this injury will probably flare up from time to time and now I have the right equipment to assist with management of it. Have had no probs with it - store nicely in my freezer but space could be a limitation for others. I have something between it and my skin and have not burned my skin or had any issues. Because of the size, flexibility, and weight of it, I can use this for a variety of aches in other areas. So glad I bought this!
