Please note: This standard-sized cooling seat cushion requires a Polar Products Universal Active Ice Cold Therapy System cooler (either 9-quart or 15-quart wheeled cooler) and the requisite tubing that comes with the product (either 5' or 9').

Ready for the ultimate in seat cooling? This seat cushion or seat back is great for long car trips, your chair at the office, your spot on the couch or recliner or as a pillow for sleeping (just remember to set the Polar Products' 30-minute auto shut-off timer before you nod off--sold separately). Just add water and ice to the cooler (sold separately), turn it on, and you're ready for long-term cooling.

So why is it the ultimate in cooling? The Active Seat Back has a network of insulated lines built into the flat pad, which spreads the water, through the lines, throughout the seat for a cold--but dry--cushion. The pad keeps its cool because the ever-circulating water constantly replaces water warmed by your body heat with freshly-chilled water, keeping you comfortably cool.

To use: Connect the Cool Flow Seat System to the tubing that comes with the Polar Products Universal Active Ice Cold Therapy System (sold separately). Begin with the system unplugged from any power supply. Simply place blocks of ice in the reservoir and fill with 3 to 4 quarts of water to the fill line. Position the Cool Flow Seat System on the seat. Plug in the system, adjust the temperature control to coldest, and turn it on; allow the system to operate for a few minutes before you adjust the temperature. When you're through, the auto-drain accessory makes it easy to pump water from the reservoir into a sink or drain.
