It does not easily mold to the shoulder area with the "hard ice" that is included with the purchase. If they switched it to "soft moldable ice" it would be MUCH better.

I like the elastic straps that allow one to velcro this pack on the shoulder but was disappointed in the stiffness of the product. Instead of the supple blue packs, this is made of much stiffer stuff. It feels like solid ice divided into sections to give some flexibilty. I think, in the future, I'll put my soft blue ice packs inside ths pro-ice shell. My arm hurts too much (rotator damage) to have that hard ice poking into into it.

My daughter has used it a few times and she says it it very comfortable, it doesn't drip water, and she doesn't have to hold it on her shoulder. I just want to see how long the ice stays cold in the summer but it is serving it's purpose and she is happy with it and that is the main thing.
