Made to specifically mold to the cervical neck region, this wrap can provide either hot or cold therapy relief for the neck and upper spine areas. The Elasto-Gel Cervical Collar is made of a tough yet soft, flexible gel that is covered with a four-way stretch material which is made from a soft and comfortable lycra. This allows for maximum conformity, heat transfer, and comfort. Both durable and user friendly the collar easily forms to your neck shape and attaches at the front by a Velcro strap. even when first removed from the freezer!
For moist heat treatment - Heat in Microwave or Conventional Oven! Simply heat the pack according to the included directions. When a warm wrap is applied, heat quickly penetrates muscles and joints. Elasto-Gel Cervical Collar continues to provide heat for an estimated 20 to 30 minutes before reheating becomes necessary.
For cold therapy - Place in Freezer! The wrap remains soft and flexible at temperatures as low as -20 degrees F. Usually the cold wrap will numb the treated area within 5 minutes without the harsh shock and pain that is sometimes experienced with ice or ice water treatments. The wraps will remain cold for approximately 20 to 40 minutes. Store the Elasto-Gel Cervical Collar in the freezer until ready to use.
Care & Cleaning Summary - (Directions Included)
Always store this product in a re-closable bag when storing in the freezer.
Remove the outside cover and hand wash in cold water, with mild soap. Hang to dry.
Wipe the white inner cover down with a damp (not wet) cloth using mild soap or disinfectant.
Allow the product to fully air dry before continuing to use.

As a Physical Therapist I use these packs on a daily basis all day. They conform well to the body and remain cold enough for repetitive use. Although I have not needed them for their heating effects, I feel confident that they will hold up to the test.
